DTC Corrugated Box
Happy Socks
A Direct to Consumer (DTC) corrugated box design aiming to improve the opening experience. It opens along the diagonal angle of the box, and displays as a “book”.
The products are held by cardstock pouches which are secured inside the box with two velcro strips. The number of pouches that can be contained in the box is highly flexible. It is easy to add or take out the pouches. The pouches are designed with windows for easy searching and grabbing.
The box is reusable as a socks organizer. For daily use, consumers do not need to put the socks back into the pouches. They can be stored in between the pouches.
The corrugated box is built strong. It has four gusted corners and four double-end walls on the short sides. The four single walls on the long side are folded against the flute of the corrugated board. There are two “S” shape flaps on the opening side, which makes the wall stronger and closes the opening gap.
